The bigger point here is that the PC is a platform with variable hardware and to support PC properly, nothing should be coded to be a fixed experience as it is with consoles.
The game originally launched on PS5 in 2022 and was later ported to PC in 2023. Unfortunately, the PC release of The Last of Us Part 1 was plagued with various issues, including performance problems and optimization difficulties. As a result, players expressed their disappointment by giving the PC port low scores, leading to review bombing.
